About Our Charity
The Meduxnekeag River Association Inc. was formed in Woodstock, New Brunswick in 1995 as a community-based non-profit environmental organization. The Association hosts an annual fundraising Dinner and Auction in Woodstock every spring; organizes an annual student Environmental Showcase competition at local elementary schools; guides walks for student groups on the Nature Preserve trails; preforms environmental monitoring experiments with youth; guides public walks; and maintains over 20km of well marked low-impacted trails that are free for all to use.
