As a community-based organization, we work on a daily basis in order to support Indigenous women with issues they may face such as sexual violence, lack of housing, education, employment, and cultural disconnection.
We welcome all self-identifying Indigenous women (cisgender, transgender, and two-spirited people) and their children. Through our multiple programs and workshops, we engage with approximately 400 women annually; supporting them in accomplishing their short and long terms goals. Also, within a year we serve approximately 2000 hot meals to the community on an annual basis.
In all that we do, we are guided by the Seven Sacred teachings: Wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility, and Truth. We bring these teachings, our traditions, and our cultures into our programming, events, and ways of being.
