Married doctors Aisha Manji and Nicholas Half know all too well the importance of palliative care. A first generation Canadian, who grew up in Terrace to East African and Scottish parents, Aisha has a family practice that encompasses the breadth of all life stages from birth to elderly, while Nicholas, who was born in Nelson and grew up near Sicamous, is an obstetrician and gynaecologist. The couple met while studying at UBC and moved to Vernon in 2010 to practice medicine. Now the proud parents of three young girls, dancing for Hospice is a way they can reciprocate their time and give back to the community.
