Hi - this is the 2024 NYA Next group writing!  

NYA is a not-for-profit organization that strives to give the Indigenous youth from the North a chance to prepare for college or for whichever path they may take. Each participant comes from different small communities that they may need to leave to pursue post-secondary education or career options, and that's where NYA comes in to provide them with that experience. Additionally, having participants from each different community gives them a chance to make new friends and learn about new things from similar but different cultures.

As NYA Next Participants we get to enjoy the many fun attractions that we would not otherwise get to experience. We work hard in this program and are hoping to raise funds to allow for us together as a group to take part in activities that help us learn and grow and enjoy the city.

Our goal is to raise $2500 and any funds we don't used will be passed on to future groups as our legacy!
