Northumberland United Way has been changing the lives of people living in Northumberland County since 1969.
We are proactive in our approach to collaborate with community partners and all levels of government to address issues we face in our community: poverty, housing, homelessness, food security, mental health, changing demographics, and transportation, just to name a few.
We focus on three main areas:
All That Kids Can Be - Guiding children and youth down a healthy path as they grow, and transition into adulthood.
Strong Communities - Building local resources, and increasing access to local programs and services to create sustainable solutions.
From Poverty to Possibility - Increasing financial stability through access to healthy food, training, mentorship, and employment.
