Each program is 30–40 minutes in length, is engaging and interactive, and includes a variety of activities.
Some programs are drop-in, and some are arranged in collaboration with schools, daycares, preschools, homeschooling groups, play groups, community children’s programs, etc.
Children learn how people with disabilities live independently, enjoy hobbies, work, go to school, explore their community, and participate in activities. They will have the opportunity to interact with the presenters and try assistive devices and tools used by people with disabilities.
ReadABILITY is offered by the League, in partnership with volunteer presenters and participating libraries.
