Now, more than ever, Nova Scotians are appreciating the enormous value that trails bring into our lives. As we help each other through the COVID-19 pandemic, having spaces to stay healthy and connected is vital. Trails give us the space to enrich not only our physical health, but also our mental well-being. Trails allow us to deepen our connection to nature, our communities, and each other.
Community-based trails in Nova Scotia are built and managed by volunteers. These individuals and their non-profit organizations depend on us to provide the services and supports to help them build, maintain and manage trails in the province. With COVID-19 resulting in a higher demand for our volunteer-managed community trails, we need your support more than ever. Your financial support will ensure our services will continue to be available to guide our dedicated volunteers through this trying and unprecedented time in our history.
