Please support our Campaign today! We cannot do this alone.
During this challenging time and in response to COVID-19, we turn to our community to stand together to help us raise funds as we help children, youth and families in accessing mental health services at a time in their lives when they need us the most.
With physical distancing, Peel Children's Centre has turned to leveraging technology to respond to the needs of the young individuals and families we serve. We may not be able to show how much we care with face-to-face support, but with virtual services, we will continue to be here for the children, youth and families in our community.
Help Right Now: Peel Children’s Centre’s 24/7 Crisis Response for Children, Youth & Families: A free and confidential service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our Crisis Response team responds to the immediate mental health needs of children, youth and families and provides resources for ongoing support.
Someone to Talk To: Tangerine Walk-in Counselling: A free telephone-based counselling service that helps children, youth and families recognize and build on their own strengths and abilities in order to overcome challenges.
Ongoing Support: WhereToStart.ca provides coordinated access to community-based mental health services to children, youth and families. Our Access & Intake Specialists will listen to their concerns, ask questions and help them find the right program or service for each child or youth’s unique needs.
