When our Founder, Elise Gasbarrino, heard the words ‘you have cancer’, she noticed a gap in programs that specifically support young women facing cancer. Elements were missing from her experience—a way to connect with women her age facing the same issues, and a means for them to conquer their issues together.

Her vision transformed into Pink Pearl Canada, a charitable organization that offers a suite of free support programs and hosts annual retreats for young women facing any type of cancer.

This past year, we received over 80 applications for our retreat, which far exceeded the 30 spots available. Young women are being diagnosed with cancer at an all-time high, and we need your help to support them at this pivotal time in their lives.

That’s why this year, when you donate to our #GivingTuesday campaign, you’re giving a young woman facing cancer the opportunity to attend our retreat!

Our retreats provide a safe and supportive environment to support young women through their cancer diagnosis. Through meaningful peer-led conversations, light movement, heartfelt connections, and expert discussions they’re designed for participants to feel supported while facing/have faced a cancer diagnosis.

To date, we’ve supported over 3,500 young women and continue to provide free support for self-identifying young women facing any type of cancer between the ages of 18 - 40.
