A public art gallery is more than the sum of its parts.
A gathering place, resource, exhibition space, source of inspiration, place for contemplation, workshop spot; a place to find out about and discover the power of art to enliven, describe and enrich our lives and our community.
The Building Fund targets improvements to our landmark rail station. Owned by the Municipality of Dysart et al, the building has been our home since 1980. Our Volunteer Building Committee sets priorities for annual improvements and ongoing maintenance, which is part of our stewardship responsibility. Our
Haliburton DrumFest fund is dedicated to the production costs of a Drum Festival in Head Lake Park. Our aim is to celebrate the awesomeness of rhythm by drumming in community. The Festival in animated by the Rails End Drummers - a growing group of individuals who are drawn to drumming as a source of good health and healing, joy, meditative experience and togetherness. Anyone may join in throughout the year. The group meets weekly at Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre. Please contact us for times and dates. firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Childrens' and Family Program Fund helps us provide free and low cost activities for families; Visit with Santa Day, Art Attacks in the Park, Frost Fest Snow Carving and Snow Painting, Cushion Concerts and more.
The General Fund is undesignated and administered by the Board of Directors in areas set out in our annual plan.
