Dignity and respect for all people is our value, and the shower trailer allows us to offer free showers to those who may not otherwise have access to it.

The purposes of this faith-based Charity are two-fold: (1) To relieve poverty by providing basic necessities of life, including food, clean water, hygiene resources, clothing, and/or shelter to individuals who are poor, of low income, or in need. (2)  To do all things as are incidental & ancillary to the attainment of the above charitable purpose.

We are not a 'stand-alone' service but come alongside other organizations that are compatible with our purposes.  We provide showers (face cloths, towel, soap, body wash are all provided), free socks & underwear.  

While providing showers is and will continue to be our primary purpose, our Committee has made a decision to do even more.  Many of our guests are men & women who are struggling with Alcohol & Drug issues.  Giving them more drugs, we believe, is not the answer to their addiction.  As an alternative to ‘The Safe Supervised Drug Consumption Sites’ our Committee has approved providing monthly support to Joshua House (www.joshuahouse.ca), a faith-based ministry that offers a treatment & recovery program for men suffering from drug & alcohol addictions.  Their program offers each person a new start in life through their residential recovery program that operates from Chilliwack. 

In addition our Committee has also approved providing 10 cans of Infamil 0-12 Baby Formula each month to women & young girls who are pregnant & facing financial stress.  We believe having an abortion is not an answer to their struggle.
