Dear Family, Friends and Community Members:
Rosedale Home for Special Care is seeking your help to make the dream of owning a Bus for Resident Recreation a reality.
The Residents at Rosedale Home for Special Care deserve to be able to go out to see the Christmas lights in December, the beautiful colours of the leaves in the Fall, nature’s magical display of blossoms and new foliage in the Spring, Sunday afternoon drives down memory lane with dinner out at that favourite restaurant anytime throughout the year and a drive to the beach stopping for an ice cream along the way on a hot summer day. The benefits of having a Bus for such purposes are enormous to the Health & Well being of the Residents.
The Department of Health & Wellness does not fund Vans or Buses in Nursing Homes therefore we must solely rely on donations from our Stakeholders to fund our Special Project.
We currently have a grand total of $51,000 towards the purchase of a new Bus; our goal is $110,000.
We ask that you please consider donating to Rosedale Home for Special Care to this special cause; all donations are appreciated. Donations are accepted by cheque, cash or online @ canadahelps.org.
All donations will be receipted.
Rosedale Home for Special Care will recognize all donors for their contributions according to the following denominations:
Up to $100
$100 - $500
$500 - $1000
$1000 - $5000
$5000 - $10,000
$10,000 or More
Donations of $10,000 or more will receive the opportunity to have their organization’s Logo on the Bus.
In recognition your name will be displayed on a Plaque in correlation to your contribution. This Plaque will become part of history and you will be acknowledged for many years to come. In addition; following the completion of our Special Project; Rosedale Home for Special Care will recognize all donors on the Home’s Website and the newspaper.
Thank you in advance for your support with this project and your past support!
