We have been working with our Royal Air Force counterparts, in support of the IBCC since 2014. This multi-year project is nearing completion, but a final push is now underway for funds to complete the project. Please understand, this memorial and research centre is much more than just a cenotaph/memorial, as it involves a research and education facility in addition to a splendid memorial. If you would like to learn more about this important memorial and centre, please visit their website www.intemationalbcc.co.uk . Meanwhile, the final phase of the project is the Chadwick Research Centre, located near Lincoln, UK. The Chadwick Centre will be the physical portal into a vast digital collection, accessible worldwide, providing veterans, their families, surviving loved ones and descendants and others (historians) interested in the strategic bombing campaign with access to all of the digital archives members of the commonwealth and allies can provide. This will be a monumental source of information to Canadians - especially survivors and descendants of the more than 10,000 aviators who lost their lives during the Second World War. If a donation interests you and your company, the RCAF Association will be pleased to provide complementary ad space in a commemorative issue of Airforce Magazine (Volume 41 Number 4), celebrating the 100"' anniversary of the Royal Air Force and the official opening of the Chadwick Centre. The magazine is expected to be released in April 2018. Thank you for your kind consideration to make a donation to this most worthy endeavor.
