Betty Ann is pleased to support the important work of Sanctum by participating in 36 hours of homelessness in the Sanctum Survivor Challenge.

This project will help people living with HIV, who face daily challenges of survival, by providing care and shelter that sustain hope and dignity.

Betty Ann Adam has been a staff reporter with the Saskatoon StarPhoenix since 1989. Before that she was on the founding board of the Community Radio Society of Saskatoon, which created and operates CFCR radio and was its first employee.

Betty Ann is a member of the Fond du Lac Denesuline First Nation. She is an intergenerational survivor of the Indian Residential Schools and a child of the Sixties Scoop. She co-wrote the award winning National Film Board of Canada documentary, Birth of a Family, about the first gathering of her three siblings and her.
