I have lived in Saskatchewan almost my entire life. I grew up in Saskatoon and went to University here. Over the last 31 years, I have worked both as a clinician (pharmacist by training), and as an executive leader.
I believe that working in health care is one of the highest callings professionally, and have witnessed first-hand the dedication and care health professionals provide citizens every day.
Sanctum and Sanctum 1.5, and the people supporting and working there, provide care for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. I have accepted the Survivor Challenge because I want to raise awareness and support the amazing work that happens each and every day at Sanctum and Sanctum 1.5.
I am nervous about the challenge, but know that my 36 hours “on the street” is just a small snapshot of life for many in our community. Thank you for supporting me.
