We change lives through community connections, engagement and inclusivity.
Saskatoon Public Library (SPL) offers vibrant and welcoming community spaces that provide diverse collections, programs and services that promote lifelong learning and inclusivity. We offer traditional library services, in addition to new services such as online resources and innovation labs, and have added STEAM toys to the catalogue to support digital literacy.
Services are available at our nine locations, online and around Saskatoon. We collaborate with community partners to bring services to where they are needed, including schools, hospitals, community centres, senior’s homes and more.
In 2018, 48% of Saskatoon residents were members, we had over 1.6 million visits, circulated over 3.3 million items, nearly 100,000 people participated in our free programming, and patrons saved over $43 million by borrowing materials from the library.
By supporting SPL, you help ensure we are able to offer innovative programs, cutting-edge technology and a robust collection of materials. Thank you for helping us fulfill our vision to change lives.
SPL is located on Treaty 6 Territory and the homeland of the Métis.
