Meet Patrick!

Patrick is a 10 week old stray who was found outdoors by a member of the public on St. Patrick’s Day.  The finder noticed that he was in pain and not walking properly, and rushed him to an emergency veterinary facility where he received medication to make him more comfortable and went in for x-rays.  It was found that one of his legs was severely damaged, and repair was determined to be not feasible.  The clinic reached out to SCAT, and he was transferred into our care.  While initially Patrick underwent surgery on March 20, 2019 to amputate the damaged leg, the surgeon was able to save the leg! He will recover and be rehabilitated in one of SCAT’s incredible foster homes until he has been cleared to be listed for adoption!

The estimated cost of Patrick’s diagnostics, treatment, recovery and potential rehabilitation is estimated at $2,000 or more.  Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help SCAT provide this life-saving care for Patrick and give him a second chance in life.  Your generosity allows SCAT to say “Yes” to the next emergency calls we’ll get.
