About SENIORS ACTIVATION MAINTENANCEPROGRAM OF HAMILTON INC
The Seniors Activation Maintenance (SAM) Program is an Adult Day Program for seniors and adults with diminished abilities. It is offered in three community-based centres. Activities are planned by a Therapeutic Recreationist for the participants on a daily basis. Each day consists of a variety of activities that have been created to enhance and maintain the well-being of the participants. Refreshments and a noon meal are provided daily.
SAM is a not-for-profit organization serving Hamilton since 1981 and Halton since 1993. SAM is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and the City of Hamilton.
