Long-term Desired Outcome
There will always be social issues that need to be addressed, and Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan will always be willing to initiate positive change in the community. We hope to ensure that the timeless tales of Shakespeare continue to be produced in relevant and meaningful ways that challenge our community for years to come. We will continue to seek out and provide educational opportunities whenever possible to ensure that his stories live on in the minds of the younger generation.
In terms of our physical site, it is our hope that the site can be made more accessible to the general public. We recognize that in its current state it is closed to the public for nine months in the year. We will be striving to work with community partners to create a festival site that is a landmark in our city, continues to serve our needs, and can be used by the general public and/or other community groups when not being used by our festival.
We hope to continue to be at the forefront of arts, culture, entertainment, and tourism throughout our company's existence.
