After Hurricane Beryl left a trail of destruction across Caribbean island nations, we’re responding to help people who have been left with nothing.
We’re focused on the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique in Grenada, where most buildings, homes, and schools are destroyed. Carriacou Island was flattened in just 30 minutes.
Thousands of people have lost their homes, and are living out in the open or in overcrowded buildings. We'll be providing tents as well as training to ensure people know how to set them up and make sure they last a long time. We’ll also provide solar lights, cooking sets, and mosquito nets so that families can have hot meals together and prevent the spread of disease.
But we still need your help.
Hurricane season has only just begun. Your support means that together, we will be there for the people of Grenada. But we will need to be ready for the next storm. Can we count on you to help us be prepared?
Please, donate today.
