NATIONAL HIKE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
SIERRA CLUB CANADA FOUNDATION
-- DATE EXTENDED TO NOV. 30th! --
Be a #HikingHero and take a hike for the environment!
Anytime this fall, get out and enjoy a hike, and help raise important funds to protect the planet.
Simply pick a date to "take a hike" - on a mountain, on a favoured walking trail, indoors with your walking group, or even around your neighbourhood - just make some time to hike, walk, wheel or stroll and help raise funds for Canada's only national grassroots organization fighting every day to protect our beautiful planet.
In this time of slashes to environmental protection that are harming people and our planet, the natural world needs you now -- more than ever before!
1. Join the event as and "Individual" or as a "Team" (the blue text boxes just under the header image of the event page.) Be sure to create a message that will communicate to your friends and contacts why YOU have chosen to be a #HikingHero!
2. Connect with your contacts and communicate your passion for helping to protect the environment. Copy and paste your fundraising link (from your browser) and send your link to your contacts and encourage them to sponsor you on your hike!
3. 10x10 - Ask 10 friends to sponsor you for $10 or more - it's that easy!
