Why get outside?
Because climbing trees and poking around in tidepools and climbing mountains as a kid shaped me and shape my work today.
Because outdoor time has been and continues to be key in healing my concussion.
Because I feel healthier and happier the more I am off screens and outside.
Because when we slow down and pay attention to the place we call home it is full of surprises.
Because hiking together builds solid friendships.
Because there is nothing like standing under an ancient cedar tree or on a high alpine ridge to provide a sense of perspective, reminding us that we humans are but tiny pieces in a much wider world.
Because Sierra Club BC does important work in the world, and you can support us!
