Are you Tough Enough?  Prove it, come join us for the Toronto Tough Mudder 2018!

It is 10-12 miles of mud and obstacles built to test your mental grit, camaraderie and all-around physical fitness. We are a team-oriented challenge with no winner, no finisher medal, no clock to race against—just an ice cold beer and a few good scrapes from a day spent outside and free from everyday bullshit. We are for anyone who has ever followed their gut, tried to defy gravity, chosen “dare” over “truth,” taken risks, sought thrills, or is generally awesome at life. Turns out, it's all been training. We are made for this.

About Sloane's House

Sloane’s House will be a community based charitable respite care center located in Durham Region providing practical, physical and emotional support to enrich the lives of children with persistent high health needs as well as their families and caregivers. These children may have rare/complex conditions; require specialized treatments, medications, technologies and therapies.

We will redefine pediatric respite care through personalized and contemporary care for children as well as their caregivers and families, to strength- en the fabric of their families and the community. Sloane’s House will demonstrate leading practices, innovation and a high level of skill, training and compassion in the delivery of it’s care, upholding the dignity and respect of each individual.

Sloane’s House will provide temporary relief to the family and caregivers while also allowing the child to engage with adults and peers outside the family and to participate in meaningful activities and therapies. We will have 6 beds for overnight stays with the ability to accommodate 6 additional children in the day programs.
