About Our Charity
Station Gallery is the lively, friendly place it is today because of continued community support. We are open every day and it's always free to visit.
The gallery was built upon a community vision for a vibrant place of creativity, innovation and art in our community.
At Station Gallery you will find the former Whitby Junction Train Station heritage building joined with a stunning new addition.
Last year we welcomed 30,000 visitors, 9,300 program participants and 200 Volunteers from across Durham Region and beyond.
There is always something new to explore with our exhibitions changing every six weeks.
Our permanent collection contains more than 300 original works, with a significant number of prints and works by Indigenous Artists.
