CATAN for a Cause Tournament
STRATFORD HOUSE OF BLESSING
Catan for a Cause Tournament
On Saturday May 6th at the A.N.A.F. Veterans Hall at 151 Lorne Ave. E in Stratford the best Catan Players will compete for the title!
All funds raised at this event will support our food bank, which provides food to nearly 600 people a month, 37% of whom are children.
Please register if you would like to trade your wits for our wheat... and choose not to 'settle' for hunger!
CATAN for a Cause:
Here's how it works!
At the event, all participants will compete in at least three games. The 16 highest scoring participants will compete in the semi-finals and the 4 top scoring players will compete for the crown! The winner will automatically qualify for the Catan Canadian National Championship!
Register soon so we can have enough boards for the tournament.
This is a great way to determine which of your Catan friends is actually the best! Invite your friends, create teams. There will be PRIZES for winners, highest team score, highest fundraiser, and highest team fundraiser.
Have a group of friends? Register as a team for more opportunities to win prizes.
There will be food available: chili, hot dogs, and Catan themed snacks.
All funds raised at this event will support our food bank!
There is a $25 entry fee to participate, visit our website to download an official registration form.
Payment can be made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) - by phone 519-273-3433, and also by cheque through mail, email or in person. We can only except cash in person.
You will ALSO need to register on here if you would like to do P2P Fundraising for this event.
If you raise over $100 through Canada Helps or in person your $25 entry fee will be waived (given back to you if cash or cheque, not rung through if credit card)!

But basically, four will play to a game, each game board will be set up identically per game, the ref has final say, if you cheat you are out, and the rules of the game will follow the latest edition of CATAN.
Players must be 12 or older.
