Support children and adults with special needs reach their full potential!

Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre's mission is to develop the full potential of children and adults with special needs and lead them closer to independence through therapy, recreation, horse riding, life skills, farm-related activities and educational programs. 

Sunrise programs embrace inclusion and provide meaningful social interaction among individuals of all abilities. Our clients, who often feel socially isolated, are accepted, valued, and empowered to take safe risks and achieve new skills. 

When individuals from vulnerable populations have access to programs that support their needs, they are better positioned to have healthier lives/greater success. 

Funds raised through Hoofbeat Challenge 2019 will support our program delivery, help keep our therapeutic riding programs affordable for families, and help keep our amazing team of therapy horses happy and healthy.

Support from Sunrise friends, like you, is essential to all that we do.

On this family friendly day, you'll enjoy over 200 acres of trails (no roadwork) followed by lunch. 

* Entry "Fee": minimum of $50 in pledges raised by event day

* Many companies have Matching Programs and will match/contribute towards their employee's fundraising efforts. It's worth an ask!

  • Pre-registration is encouraged. You may also register event day.
  • Register by September 4th (on-line, email or by phone) and be entered into our    Early Bird Draw!
  • First 50 participants to register receive a Sunrise tote!

  • Participants who raise $100 or more receive a Sunrise T-Shirt!
  • All fundraising registrants receive a lunch voucher and door prize tickets 
  • LUNCH PROVIDED BY THE OPTIMIST CLUB OF PUSLINCH (food available for purchase)  
  • AWARDS FOR TOP FUNDRAISERS (TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS)

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, September 28 (rain or shine!)

Time:  

• Dog walkers: Check-in/Registration begins at 9:00 am

• Dog walkers depart at 10:00 am sharp

• Horse riders: Check-in/Registration at 10:00 am

• Horse riders depart at 11:00 am-11:15 am

Compete for the coveted "Hoofbeat Cup" for the top individual fundraiser or for "Sunrise Cup" for top fundraising team.

There are prizes for the top 3 individuals and top team! 

Please register as either an individual or team. All individuals on a team are eligible for the top individual fundraising prizes.
