Summit Veterinary Pharmacy Ride for Farley

Summit Veterinary Pharmacy Ride for Farley is an annual event during which veterinarians and veterinary health professionals cycle to raise funds and awareness for the Farley Foundation. Veterinarians raise funds through their clinics and rely on the generous donations from their clients and the public.  Registered Lead Riders have each committed to riding one of three distances: 50, 100 or 160 km. They have also committed to raising a minimum of $500, $750 or $1,000 depending on their chosen route and past experience with the Ride.

NEW this year, friends and family of our Lead Riders can register to participate in the Summit Veterinary Pharmacy Ride for Farley. They are not required to raise the minimum fundraising amount and can ride any of the routes that we offer (50 km, 100 km, 160 km). We do encourage fundraising as a team, and participants can now create a Team Fundraising Page (see button above) where everyone can contribute to reach the Lead Rider’s fundraising goal. All participants MUST submit a registration form to mchalmers@ovma.orgAll tax receipts for donations made online will be issued at the time of donation.

With most participants joining us from veterinary clinics across Ontario (mostly veterinarians, veterinary technicians or other staff), much of the fundraising for this event is taking place through the efforts of veterinary clinics.

Our 2018 Ride for Farley raised over $60,000 for people in need and their sick/injured pets. Can we beat this in 2019? We're sure going to try. What does $60,000 mean to the Farley Foundation? With an average disbursement of nearly $450, $60,000 will assist about 134 people in need and their sick/injured pets. Thank you!!
