Overview

This free, youth-led forum is aimed at service providers, public servants, educators, and workplaces. The goal is professional care for LGBTQ2+ youth.

Youth from across the Simcoe County and area will be presenting on a range of topics including healthcare and schools, housing and families, mental health, and employment. There will be opportunities for networking, collaboration between youth and professionals.

The day will also feature breakout sessions for youth and professionals to collaborate and learn from one another, identifying barriers and gaps in services and care while also setting goals.

Following the forum, a report containing the discourse and ideas from the day will be presented to participants as well as published to help aide in building capacity in the region.

Lunch is included, and snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Free transportation will be provided for youth, with bus pick ups/drop offs in Collingwood, Elmvale, Midland, Bradford, Alliston, and Barrie.
