Hi, I’m Julia Mogus, a proud volunteer and passionate supporter of the National Ballet of Canada. As a Pointe Shoe Advocate, I’m inviting you to join me in making a meaningful difference for our incredible dancers.
Pointe shoes are more than just footwear—they’re a vital part of every breathtaking performance. But did you know each pair lasts only a few hours of intense rehearsals or a single act on stage? Each pair costs the National Ballet $125, and with up to 3,000 pairs needed every year, the cost is enormous- but together, we can make a difference.
This season, I’ve set a personal goal to fund 14 pairs of pointe shoes—and I can’t do it without your help!
