This past summer, I had the absolute pleasure of working with The Pine Project, a registered charitable organization that teaches children and adults alike the importance of nature connection, both mentally and physically.
I experienced first-hand the positive effects it had on the children I worked with. I watched timid, yet curious children expand their way of thinking, gain confidence and develop a genuine curiosity of the world around them!
Adam and I will be participating in their annual Sit-A-Thon, to raise money for their Best Day Ever Bursary Fund, that allows those incredible little humans to experience such programs like summer camp, which they might not otherwise get the opportunity to, due to financial restrictions. On October 28th, we will be sitting alone in nature for 8 hours with no outside connections/distractions.
I really want to bring awareness to this incredible organization, but donations are also VERY much appreciated!
