I've been working at the Pine Project for almost a year, but my short time at Pine has already been so enriching and formative in the way that I view and interact with the world around me. I have gotten to see the many ways in which Pine programs create confident, independent, resilient kids that are inspired and have a sense of stewardship for the environment.
On Saturday, October 26th, I will be sitting alone in nature for 5 hours rain-or-shine to help raise money to support Pine's Best Day Ever Bursary Fund.
I'm sitting so that more children get the opportunity to be able to participate in nature connection programs with mentors as knowledgable and compassionate as the mentors at the Pine Project.
By supporting me in the Sit-a-thon, you're funding our bursary program and helping provide families that otherwise wouldn't be able to afford our programs the chance to participate in deep, meaningful, life changing nature connection experiences.
