DogFest is a partnership between The Riverwood Conservancy and Mississauga Animal Services. 

The event will take place at Riverwood in Mississauga. Guests will enjoy vendor displays, a dog and owner walk-a-thon through the beautiful surroundings of Riverwood, contests and activities for your dog to watch and participate in. Register today and start raising funds for these two great organizations in your community. The dog that raises the most funds (online or money into office by Friday September 28 at noon) will win a $100.00 gift card to Barks N Recs.

The Riverwood Conservancy is a member based charity that provides programs in environmental education, conservation stewardship, volunteerism, gardening and horticulture to all ages and abilities.

The Mississauga Animal services SCARF program(Special Care and Resources Fund) is designated to benefit rescued or abandoned animals that are wards of Mississauga Animal Services. This may be accomplished through extended vet care, improved education programs or non-budgeted improvements to the Animal Services Facility. These items will be directly related to improved animal care and service.
