This is the fourth year that Equipe ‘78 is running the Toronto to Montreal charity ride. Each year a charity is selected to be the beneficiary of our efforts, and this time our efforts will support the fundraising efforts of Team Project Linear Acceleration, a cycling duo that participated in this year’s Race Across America. Along with cyclist Paul Millar, cyclist Mark Herbst rode in honour of his wife Jackie, a three time cancer survivor, raising funds for the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre. Funds will be used to equip RVH’s new Linear Accelerator with specialized tools and technologies used to deliver radiation treatments to cancer patients, advancing patient care in this large geographical region. This will also help to further alleviate Simcoe Muskoka residents use of Toronto area cancer centres, benefitting patient flow and wait times in the GTA and in Simcoe Muskoka.

Registration Requirements

Registration for this fully supported event is free. Those participating in Stage 2 are required to also setup a fundraising Page and raise a minimum $1,000.00. A custom rider jersey will be included. Follow the instructions in the registration confirmation email.
