Playing for Connor

The RVH Foundation

  • Campaign

Your participation in the Playing for Connor baseball tournament, held in memory of Connor Warren, supports local youth mental health initiatives.

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is grateful to be a beneficiary of the event as the funds benefit our Simcoe Muskoka Regional Child and Youth Mental Health program which opened in January of 2018. This program includes an eight-bed inpatient unit unique to the region, a comprehensive outpatient day program and an onsite classroom – each of which are specific to the needs of children and youth experiencing a mental health crisis.

In the last year and half, over 1,300 children and youth across Simcoe Muskoka have accessed care through the inpatient unit, outpatient program or onsite classroom.

Your support in Playing for Connor helps RVH's Simcoe Muskoka Regional Child and Youth Mental Health patients receive the best possible care closer to home.
