The Northern Legacy Fund is committed to promoting the long-term wellbeing and growth of communities across the Northwest Territories. Launched by the Yellowknife Community Foundation, this fund aims to raise $3 million by 2028 to support essential community programs and services that improve the quality of life for residents in the region.

When you contribute to the Northern Legacy Fund, you’re not just making a donation; you’re joining a collective effort to create lasting change. Your support will help provide annual grants of approximately $125,000, funded by the investment income generated from the $3 million principal of the Northern Legacy Fund. These grants will directly benefit local organizations and initiatives.

We we invite you to make a meaningful impact by supporting the Northern Legacy Fund with a one-time donation, or by setting up a Named Contribution. Every donation is vital in strengthening our communities.
