Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pulling for My Community is the United Way CSO's annual Bus Pull and community fundraising event. We encourage teams of 8 people (corporate, friends & family) to dig deep and pull a BC Transit bus in time trials against other teams in a round robin style event. These teams will compete for the coveted Community Cup.
The Cup is the ultimate goal, but we have an amazing roster of prizes to recognize our Top Fundraising Teams, Individuals and Most Spirited Team. Each Participant is asked to raise a minimum of $100 to participate and our staff is there to coach our fundraisers along the way.
***Plus, to help YOU along YOUR journey to the pull we’re gifting each registered participant that either self-pledges $50.00 at the time of registration OR achieves their $100 fundraising minimum online, a Gym Membership to Global Fitness and Racquet Centre up until event day.***
Participants can train while reaching their own personal fitness goals for a great community cause. Plus, get help from YOUR Global Fitness Coach, which each participant will meet with to establish their goals and build their plan for fitness success.
How Am I Pulling for MY Community? Money that is raised here, stays here and is invested back into organizations and programs that combat underlying social issues. We move people from poverty to possibility, helping kids be all they can be, and building strong and healthy communities.
Winning teams will advance, but the real winners are the community members impacted by United Way investments.
