Please help support a joint project of the United Way and the Owen Sound Waste Watchers as we gather information about the impact of low income realities on household purchases and waste disposal methods.
From January to June 2020, ten participant households will take part in Talkin’ Trash learning sessions, receive garbage, recycling and zero waste support items, track their household garbage/recycling output and provide feedback.
Project expenses per participant household is $100. We appreciate all donations … every dollar will help us get this project off the ground. Thank you for your support!
If donations exceed the costs of the project, the excess donations will be utilized to support low income households with waste diversion products (purchase of reusable produce bags for example).
