Community Cats Toronto is the city's only dedicated group helping feral, outdoor, and abandoned cats through Trap Neuter Return (TNR) education and advocacy.
#1 We are all-volunteer run. A small but nimble team organizes and hosts over 14 TNR courses each year from Toronto to Sudbury.
#2 We empower people to help cats, which in turn helps people and communities. Simply put, fewer kittens, fewer problems.
#3 We collect data. Tracking colony populations is critical to the success of this city-wide program and effort to spay-neuter feral cats.
With limited resources, we manage to have a big impact on unowned cats and kittens in Toronto. Since the program began a decade ago, our partners at Toronto Animal Services have seen a 56% decrease in feline intact.
That's a lot fewer unwanted kittens born on the street and healthier, vaccinated cats in colonies. Donate to help us continue our programming in 2020 and grow the organization with new educational initiatives.
