We know many people in Chatham-Kent cannot afford to prepare, and do not have a support system around them if they contract COVID-19 or need to self-isolate. Those who already face barriers—things like poverty, homelessness and social isolation—need even more help during this time.
The needs in this community will continue to evolve. But, as you work to protect your family and those closest to you to keep them healthy, we urge you to think of those who may need the help of their neighbours.
Everyone has an important role to play and together we can keep our community strong.
