The Vancouver Humane Society provides emergency medical care for animals in need through our McVitie Fund. Most often we help people on low incomes, such as old age or disability pensions, who are in danger of their sick companion animal being given up or euthanized due to their lack of resources. We also help low-income individuals to spay or neuter their companion animals.
Thanks to our supporters we've helped hundreds of animals to date, but as an organization that receives no government funding, we are constantly stretched to our limits and rely entirely on the support of our generous donors, one of whom, has offered to match every donation made towards our McVitie Fund up until May 1st 2020 (up to the value of $25,000)!
Thank you so much for your support! Your donation will make a real difference to so many animals lives - and their guardians too!
