As a result of the ongoing support of people like you, Variety has evolved, prospered, and grown to new heights through many historical events over the past 72 years. Our mission to provide vital programs that empower the lives of people with disabilities lives in the heart of every staff, program participant, athlete, member, and volunteer- we are not going to let COVID 19 slow us down and we are hopefully that you will be right there with us.
For many of the 6,000 children and families we serve, financial insecurity is a way of life. Many of our family members struggle to afford camp, vital 1 to 1 support, and life skills programming that support participant goals to achieve independent living and fulfill them as life long learners.
We will not sit idly by in these challenging times. We continue to work on exciting new programming, we strive to find new ways to engage with you, our supporters, and we push to innovate and stay ahead of the curve like we have done through each opportunity to diversify that has presented itself before. We are stronger together and together we will thrive!
We need you to act today to restore Variety and help us pull through this storm. Your support ensures that we will have vital programming available as soon as our doors open, every participant, athlete, and member is back where they belong, in the place they consider their second home, Variety.
We were so humbled by those in our community who recently reached out with a note and a donation, helping to remind us that the work we do is important. We want to thank our valued and caring community for your understanding amidst the uncertainty facing us all.
At Variety, there is a place for children with disabilities to be themselves, and to be better than ever. Your donation today matters. You can help. You are making a difference, You are a Variety champion.
All donations above $20 are eligible for a tax receipt. Visit varietyontario.ca to learn more about how we’re responding to the COVID-19 crisis, to make a direct donation today, and to help families and children and kids be themselves.
