The Visual Arts Centre is dedicated to excellence in the fine and applied arts.
It offers a wide range of programs to a broad and diversified audience.
The Centre believes that creative expression is a source of vitality and renewal crucial to contemporary living and values the visual arts as a source of nourishment and growth. It seeks to provide a learning environment where individuals of all ages are able to develop as fully as possible their skill, expertise, and expressiveness in a chosen medium. It is especially mindful to attune its teaching to the specific and specialized needs of its students.
The Centre believes that the arts contribute significantly to the quality of life in our communities. It thus serves as an advocate for the arts in the broader environment, seeking to foster alliances that can help bring the visual arts more fully into the centre of our lives.
