The museum is showing an annual increase in attendance, more community participation and is offering new and exciting programs. Attendance for 2018 is at an all-time high with over 2200 visitors not counting November & December. While the museum is becoming a viable and sustainable facility, it needs community support while it works towards its long term goals and maintains its mission statement.
Presently the museum is involved in both the annual Vintage Tractor Show and the annual Westlock Fair. And one of our most exciting programs is Tractor Talk Time. This program is geared towards all tractor enthusiasts on the first Tuesday of each month. We average eighteen to twenty participants who many express deep felt gratitude for this opportunity. We are now offering school and daycare field trips based on school curriculum. As well, the Canadian Tractor Museum is also offering low cost birthday parties for people of all ages. This is a wonderful alternative to existing birthday party opportunities and again the feedback is amazing.
Funds are needed to increase community programming and offer them for free or low cost.
