Meet Meghan Cobb from CanadaHelps

Posted on

As a leading Canadian social enterprise with an 18 year history, CanadaHelps is dedicated to supporting Canada’s philanthropic sector by helping charities raise funds for their critical work. We’re a hands on team ready to go the extra mile for any one of Canada’s 86,000 registered Canadian charities, and we truly embrace our motto: our cause is every cause. That is why today, we are excited to announce our newest Charity Engagement Lead – Western Canada, Meghan Cobb.

Meghan joins us with over five years of experience in the technology sector, most recently focusing on healthcare and education. Prior to her career in IT, Meghan received a degree in linguistics and Spanish from the University of Victoria, and completed her teaching certificate at Mount Royal University which she used to teach English as a second language both in Canada and abroad. Since then, her education has continued to include event management, public relations and currently is taking fundraising courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Meghan has been involved in a number of initiatives aiming to support women in business and leadership, and continues that work by volunteering her time with organizations like Dress for Success Vancouver.

Focusing on working with charities located in Western Canada, Meghan will work alongside Jacob O’Connor and Krista Stewart as part of our Charity Engagement team.
