La Fondation franco-albertaine is a community foundation that was established in 1995 by the Franco-Albertan community.
  
Since 2007, over 60 endowment funds have been created through La Fondation franco-albertaine. An endowment fund donates only its interest annually thus protecting the capacity of the fund to give in perpetuity.
 
The endowment funds created at La Fondation franco-albertaine give scholarships and bursaries to the community respecting the donors’ objectives in areas such as education, history, sports, health, leadership, community projects, business and entrepreneurship.

La Fondation franco-albertaine est une fondation communautaire qui appuie les philanthropes souhaitant avoir un impact positif sur le développement social, culturel et économique de la francophonie en Alberta, notamment en administrant des fonds de dotation et des programmes de bourses.

En 2014, La Fondation compte 62 fonds de dotation totalisant un actif de plus de 4 millions $.
