Located in Battleford, SK Lend A Paw Animal Rescue is a volunteer based registered Canadian Charity working to improve the lives of animals by rescuing, providing food, shelter and medical care to homeless, abandoned, neglected & abused animals until loving forever homes can be found. After first being assessed most of our rescued animals are cared for in loving foster homes, giving the animal a proper environment to thrive, thus providing us with the knowledge to find a suitable forever home. We support and provide our foster home families with food, medical care, training and any other needs the animal may require, while we actively search for an appropriate forever home.

Lend A Paw was founded in 2011 and is located in Northwest Saskatchewan. 98% of the dogs that come into the organizations care are homeless and many are suffering from injuries and the effects of neglect.  We take in/rescue dogs based on the need of urgency, medical condition, and availability of space.  Lend A Paw provides all necessary medical and care needed until loving homes are found.  Lend A Paw promotes responsible pet ownership, spay/neutering, adoption and provide assistance where and when needed.  

Lend A Paw receives no funding from government or municipalities and is 100% operated and administrated by volunteers. All funding is directly derived from the organizations fundraising efforts, donations and support from the public & businesses.
