The Society for the Propagation of the Faith is one of the Pontifical Missions, a Catholic world missionary organization.  It funds the needs of the missionary Church by providing financial assistance to new dioceses and parishes.  It provides for the training of Catechists, provides centers for lay formation and pastoral work. This Society also provides relief for the poor, the hungry and the suffering.  Through the financial support of people throughout the world including Canadians the work of this charity can be realized.  

The Society of St. Peter the Apostle, another charity of the Pontifical Missions, financially supports the education of priests in mission countries enabling these countries to have local clergy.  It helps root the Church within the local cultures of people throughout the world. donor support is greatly appreciated.

Founded in France in 1889 the Society of St. Peter the Apostle (SPA) has led in the mission of The Holy Catholic Church to support the training of future priests and religious brothers and sisters. 

In communities where poverty, both material and spiritual, rules. Our priests and religious are a source of hope and joy, their presence is paramount. Even one new priest makes a world of difference to the lives of people in remote areas, where Mass may only be celebrated three or four times in a single year.

Through your generosity the SPA is able to train 30,000 seminarians and 10,000 religious sisters around the world. Please help us to continue in the ever arduous task to grow our faith and renew the Church.

Pope Francis has called us to go beyond, to go to the peripheries and 'Wake up the World'. We are all called to help!

To help with the costs of books and religious materials for students and faculty members.

To help cover the up-keeping costs of seminaries and religious formation houses. Many of the formation houses are in great need for renovation and repair.

Will help cover the costs of 1 year of formation for a religious student. It takes an average of 5 years to complete priestly and religious studies.
