New Path Foundation is a public foundation with a volunteer board of directors which serves as a link between donors, charitable interests and the vital needs of children, youth & families.

With its important support role to New Path Youth & Family Services, New Path Foundation is able to reach out to all of Simcoe County and beyond.

New Path Foundation originated as the Thompson Community Foundation in 1996.  In 2000, the Foundation became New Path Foundation of Simcoe County.  New Path Foundation ensures the availability of human and financial resources for innovative programs.

We recognize this is a challenging time for many people in our communities. Social isolation, uncertainty about the future and anxiety as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic has put additional stress on our daily lives. These are stressors we have never collectively experienced before and none of us are immune to these challenges. However,  for those children, youth and their families struggling with mental health concerns this has resulted in a real mental health emergency.

This year, we really need your help. We are working hard to meet the increased demand for mental health services and have been shifting service delivery to ensure compliance with social distancing and additional health protocols. In addition, we have worked tirelessly to ensure the ongoing sanitization and cleaning protocols throughout all our locations.

Gifts like yours are essential in providing children and youth the opportunity to thrive. The need for accessible, timely and effective child and youth mental health services never diminishes. 1 in 5 children and youth are affected by a mental health challenge.

1 out of every 5 Children and Youth is Affected by a Mental Health Challenge

Provides mental health support manuals for parents and kids attending Coping and Parenting Groups. 

Provides creative supplies, such as stress balls and art supplies, to support therapeutic work with clients. 

Provides a family with a counselling support session.

Provides three months of one-on-one tutoring support for a youth in our Residential Treatment Program.
