Art Souterrain is a non profit organization which aims to provide a wider accessibility to contemporary art since 2009. With the will to demystify the artistic process and artworks, the organization implements long term initiatives to cultivate an understanding and to create a bound between an artwork and its audience.

To achieve its ends, Art Souterrain is based on a strong model with the main intention of getting artworks out of traditionnel exhibition places. By doing so, the organization wants to surprise everyone in its daily life and to bring a new kind of interaction, governed by questioning and emotion. 

By supporting Art Souterrain, you will encourage its policy of universal accessibility but also all the artistic community !

Art Souterrain est un organisme à but non lucratif fondé en 2009 qui a pour mandat de rendre l’art contemporain accessible au grand public. Dans une optique de démystification des oeuvres et démarches artistiques, l’organisme met en place plusieurs projets annuels qui cherchent à éduquer le regard et à créer du lien entre l’oeuvre et son public.

Pour parvenir à ses fins, Art Souterrain s’appuie sur un modèle fort qui consiste à sortir l’art des lieux d’exposition traditionnels pour l’amener à la rencontre des individus. En investissant des lieux non conventionnels l’organisme souhaite surprendre tout un chacun dans son quotidien et ainsi provoquer une interaction d’un nouveau genre.

Your donation will offer an artistic mediation to a group of people. The professional  mediator  is there to facilitate the understanding. 

Your donation will allow a meeting between an artistic curator and the public during a free guided tour

With your donation, we will be able to organize a public meeting where an artist will share its vision, but most of all, its engagement: why does he create, what message does he want to share ?

With this generous donation, an artist will have the opportunity to expose in a public space, and then to reach a wider audience. 

Votre don permettra d'offrir une médiation de qualité à un groupe d'individus lors de l'un de nos événements. Une médiatrice, formée pour l'occasion, accompagnera les visiteurs dans leur découverte.

Votre don nous permettra de créer une rencontre entre un commissaire d'exposition et le public lors d'une visite guidée gratuite et accessible. 

Avec votre don, nous pourrons organiser une conférence publique d'un artiste pour qu'il puisse partager sa vision mais surtout son propos: qu'est ce qui le pousse à créer, quel message souhaite-t-il faire passer ?
