Joy and Hope of Haiti has funded the construction of more than twenty schools in the north of Haiti over the past twenty years providing for the education of thousands of Haitian children.
In some of these schools, food programs sponsored by Joy and Hope of Haiti assist families to nourish their children while enhancing the abilty of the children to learn.

Additionally, Joy and Hope of Haiti supports the Stella House Orphanage in Cap-Haitien, providing a safe home and education for its residents.

For as little as $15.00 a month, you can ensure a Haitian children receives an education.

Over the past quarter century, Joy and Hope of Haiti has built 27 schools. We currently support 9 schools with the hope of increasing this number. 

Our special ‘matching programs’ see local communities paying a percentage of the costs needed to run the school while Joy and Hope covers the rest. Although every school is different, typically, we pay two-thirds to three-quarters of the costs because unemployment is so high and as a result people in our communities are often living in extreme poverty.
